On the Lott story, the blogosphere can take credit

NY Post columnist John Podhoretz credits the Internet with driving the Lott story, including props to Josh Marshall (of course) and Atrios.

The piece also gives Drudge a great deal of the credit. Drudge may still be the most influential of the web "journalists" (and I mean that in the loosest sense of the word), but I think this episode will help drive other blogs, especially Josh Marshall's, further into the eyes of the mainstream media.
