Bush is getting his war bounce as the nation rallies round the commander in chief in times of war (kind of like what's happening in Iraq).

In polls conducted over the weekend, but before Sunday's bleak news of heavy casualties, Bush scored 68 percent in the ABC News/WP poll, 71 percent in the CBS News/NYT poll, 67 percent in the NBC News poll, and 71 percent in the CNN/USA Today poll.
