Meteorite wrecks houses in India

From India we get the following news:

At least 20 people are reported to have been injured after a meteorite crashed to Earth in eastern India.

Reports say hundreds of people in the state of Orissa panicked when the fireball streamed across the sky.

Burning fragments were said to have fallen over a wide area, destroying several houses.

The Cubs win their division, and balance must be maintained. As I wrote early this morning:
For one night, everything is right with the universe. I fully expect a meteor to crash into earth tomorrow and snuff out all life.
I was wrong, of course. A division title equals a block of houses. If the Cubs win the pennant, expect a meteor to wipe out an entire country. And a World Series?

That's when we can expect all life snuffed out.
